We start our tour with a visit to the Ned Kelly Museum & Homestead, Glenrowan. The story unfolds before you as you follow the interpretive display clockwise in both picture and panel. Push and the heavy old door creaks open to the yard. Step into another era to an authentic replica of the Kelly Homestead, Blacksmith Shed and cheeky talking Cockatoos.
Day 2 we attend the Bright Autumn Festival Gala Day and Grand Parade. In the afternoon we are off to the Feathertop Winery Cellar Door for some wine tastings.
After visiting the Australian Pumpkin Seed Company first thing on Day 3, the rest of the day will be spent at open gardens, some of which are only open for the festival.
We visit the Milawa Cheese Company for a Guided Taste & Talk, on our way home on Day 4. Taking approximately 60 minutes, their knowledgeable staff will guide you through their huge selection of handmade cheese. There will be time to purchase some of their delicious cheeses, to take home with you.
