On this 6 Day Tour, we follow the mighty Murray River from Mildura in the Sunraysia to Swan Hill in the heart of the Mallee.
Mildura sits on the banks of the vast Murray River, with its paddle steamers and houseboats and is located within a major citrus and grape growing district. We spend a few days exploring Mildura and its surrounds, including a paddle steamer ride through Lock 11 before we depart for Swan Hill
Swan Hill also sits on the banks of the Murray River. During our stay, we visit the Pioneer Settlement and learn about the history of this once major inland trading port. We visit the Flying Boat Museum in Lake Boga, where during World War II, Catalina flying boats landed on the lake for repairs and servicing.
