Beginning in Melbourne, we travel along the Hume Highway towards Albury, before crossing the border into New South Wales. Our visit to the nation's Capital includes a tour of Parliament House and the National Museum of Australia. We continue towards Sydney, where the stunning natural beauty of the Blue Mountains provides quite a contrast to the modern cosmopolitan feel of Sydney central, including the Rocks precinct and Darling Harbour. Spending some time relaxing in Byron Bay, it's further north to the beautiful Gold Coast, one of Australia's favourite tourist spots, with its relaxed lifestyle and beach culture.

Your tour begins as you board Australia's largest floating hotel, The Spirit of Tasmania, for an overnight crossing to Davenport. You will be met by your experienced and knowledgeable Coach Captain, who will show you all that Tassie has to offer. Highlights include a ride on Cataract Gorge chairlift, a walk through Freycinet National Park with spectacular views over the pristine beach of Wineglass Bay and a tour of the historical Port Arthur site, including the Isle of the Dead Cruise and Ghost Tour &mdash not for the faint hearted! A tour of the Cadbury Chocolate factory will have chocoholics in heaven, as you are able to sample as you go! For the adventurous members of your group, a Jet Boat ride along the Huon River and a visit to Antarctic Adventure. Breathe in the fresh mountain air of Cradle Mountain before it's back to the port to board the Spirit of Tasmania heading for home.
